Proximo expertise celebrates two decades
DFK International’s member firm in Morocco is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
Proximo Expertise has evolved significantly since being founded by Dinari Fouzi in 1999, and its membership of DFK International has certainly played a part in staying at the forefront of the services it provides nationally and internationally.
The firm was established as Cabinet Dinari by Dinari, who had experience with a Moroccan subsidiary of one of the Big Four and had held the post of Financial Director at the state agricultural company SODEA.
With other partners, he then launched Cabinet FIDAB Expertise in 2003 which later changed its name to Proximo Expertise.
Fouzi Dinari, who is President of Proximo Expertise, explained: “The new name was a better fit for the strategic vision of a firm which mainly serves small and medium businesses, and offers personalised support whether in consulting, audit, accounting, or legal and tax.
“Since being established, we have moved from a firm to a group of subsidiaries that are organised into different areas of competences, which allows us to capitalise on best practice and adapt to the changing needs of clients.”
Proximo Expertise has four regional offices in Rabat, Casablanca, Tangier and Marrakech where it is centred, and has around 52 employees.
It is known at a national level as a firm that specialises in agriculture, largely based on Dinari’s professional experience in the sector.
Its partners bring expertise in other areas including air transport, renewable energies, industry, education, mining, tourism, professional services, public sector and insurance.
“We joined DFK International in 2006 and our membership has definitely played a part in the development of the firm,” said Fouzi.
“It has enabled us to support our clients with international projects thanks to the mobilisation of a dynamic and highly-interconnected association of some 90 countries around the world.
“And our participation in conferences and training seminars has allowed us to stay at the forefront of the services we provide.”
The 20th anniversary has not only provided the opportunity for the firm to celebrate with partners, clients and friends, but also to reflect on its achievements and ambitions.
