Each region is represented at board level by a regional vice-president and have their own committees to manage the regions development.

The region covers North, South and Central America. Fee income for member firms in The Americas region has grown steadily in recent years. In the year to December 2020 the combined income rose to $842m.

Sub Regional Groups

An Americas Development Committee (ADC) was established to drive the future development of the region. It is currently focusing on development in Latin America.

The Asia-Pacific region encompasses all of Asia east of Iran and south of Russia, and includes all of Australasia and the Pacific Islands. Its unique nature like large distances, highly diverse populations and cultures are factors which impact doing business but our expertise enables us to navigate all of them with ease. 

DFK member firms across Asia-Pacific combine their local knowledge with the regional and global resources of DFK International to provide outstanding support to their clients. With representation in every major economy in the area, and multiple offices in large cities, DFK International is well placed to support clients in meeting their international accountancy and business advisory needs throughout the region.

Asia Pacific development

DFK Asia-Pacific has an Executive Committee which has developed a vision plan to assist members to grow and develop their services to clients. 

The plan has clear goals which include:

  • Providing technical support for member firms
  • Ensuring that all Asia Pacific members meet DFK quality standards
  • Strengthening relationships between all DFK member
  • Reinforcing the DFK brand
  • Increasing the number and location of quality members
  • Encouraging and supporting national groups 

The Executive Committee meets face-to-face at least three times per year as needed or more frequently by teleconference.

Each year we organise an Asia Pacific conference (hosted by one of our member firms) that includes two days of speakers and workshops with the aim of enabling us to share knowledge of the business issues for our region and giving member firms the opportunity to promote their business, their clients and their specialities.

In 2009, the Asia Pacific region appointed an Executive Officer to assist the regional Vice President and the Executive Committee achieve the goals set in the Asia Pacific Vision Plan.

The EMEA region comprises Europe, the Middle East and Africa. 

Activity in the region is co-ordinated by an Executive Committee that has representatives from 7 countries.

The region has a clear set of Goals and Objectives that drive its activity and which support the priorities established by the DFK International Strategic Plan. 

Particular emphasis is given to developing the support that is available to clients who have cross border activities throughout the EMEA region.

Business transacted by firms in our EMEA region has grown steadily in recent years and was US$459m in the year to December 2020.
