Managing a changing world will be under the spotlight at an event in Manchester as DFK EMEA delegates join together in-person for the first time in two years.

The DFK EMEA Annual and Young Professionals Conference is set to be held at the Midland Hotel, in Manchester, from March 8 to 11.

Delegates from across Europe, as well the USA and Canada, have signed up to attend this year’s event, hosted by RPG Chartered Accountants, which has not been held in-person since February 2020 due to Covid-19.

The conference was originally due to be held in Vienna, but has since been relocated to the UK as a result of Covid restrictions in Austria.

The event will once again bring young professionals and senior partners together as DFK EMEA combines its annual conference and young professionals conference for the second time.

One of the main themes of the event will be managing a changing world, with speakers Carl Reader, Eve Tomlinson and Positive Group focusing on topics including navigating the new world, making an impact, and leadership skills.

MARCOMM Training is also set to return to hold a session focused on change management for the young professionals.

Delegates will be able to enjoy a programme of social activities, including dinner at the Manchester Art Gallery and a treasure hunt around the city.

Caroline Cassidy, EMEA Executive Officer and Conference Manager, said: “We are extremely pleased to be holding our EMEA Conference in-person once again and are thoroughly looking forward to this year’s event.

“We have an excellent programme which includes some fantastic speakers, seminars and activities for our delegates.

“There is a real appetite to get everyone back together which is wonderful, and we have a number of safety precautions in place to ensure that the event is as safe as possible for guests.”

EMEA Vice President Marco Vermin, of Alfa Accountants in the Netherlands, added: “It will be a pleasure to welcome delegates to this year’s conference in March.

“Although we have done a lot of networking online during the pandemic, it will be a fantastic opportunity to meet face-to-face again.

“DFK is a highly social network, and it will be good to catch-up with friends and share best practice as we look to the future.”
